The breast cancer use case of the Leibniz AI Lab, a BMBF-funded international AI research lab (2020 – 2023) at the L3S Research Center, Leibniz University Hannover, in cooperation with the Department of Gynaecology at Hannover Medical School (MHH).
- Machine learning algorithms that predict whether a patient will respond to neoadjuvant treatment.
- Goal: help decide which patients gain more from neoadjuvant therapy and which from surgery.
